Belonging to the princes Oginski genus, since 1802 to Mikhail Kleofas Oginski, the famous politician and composer. The estate was built in 1802-1805 in classical style designed by the architect Joseph Poussier. Literary museum of Oginski is located in this palace. Here Mikhail Oginski (the author of music  of the song "Poland has not even perished") create masterpieces, famous throughout the world. Also here he create one of his most famous musical work - opera "Zelida and Valkur or Bonaparte in Cairo".

State historical and cultural institution "Museum - farmstead MK Oginski "began its work in April 2010 under the patronage of a local charity fund" Northern Athens ". In the musical-literary evenings, which were carried out in the estate, was perfomed many works of the composer. Also here was created and first performed the world-famous his polonaise "Farewell to the Fatherland".
