The first winner in the World Cup double-trap shooting finals will be nominated in Minsk on Saturday, September 27, Interfax-West has learnt from the Belarusian Clay Target Shooting Federation (BCTSSF).
Saturday will be a double-trap shoot-up at 9:00-14:00, which each shooter hitting 150 clay targets. Later in the day at 15:00 – 15:30 the best six shooters will compete in the final found of the event.
Claiming the double-trap trophy are Walton Eller (USA, 2008 Olympic Champion), Francesco D'Aniello (Italy, 2007 world champion, and 2008 Olympics silver medalist, Hamad ALAFASI (2001 world champion, Kuwait), HU Binyuan (China, 2008 Olympics bronze medalist), Roland GEREBICS (Hungary, many times world champion), Hakan DAHLBY of Sweden and Russia’s Vasili Mosin (two times European champions), World Cup prize-winners Mikhail LEYBO of Russia, Geoffrey Holguin (USA) and India’s Ronjan SODHI.

The World Cup clay target shooting finals will be held September 25 through October 1 at the Minsk-based Sporting Club at 193, Nezavisimiski Avenue, Building 2.
Besides double trap, the World Cup finals will feature men’s and women’s trap and skeet events. The tournament is held under the auspices of the Belarusian
Clay Target Shooting Federation.
