Ukraine’s new president, Viktor Yanukovych, will visit Minsk this spring, said the press office of the Ukraine Council of Ministers on March 17.
The visit was discussed at a meeting held between Ukrainian Prime Minister Mykola Azarov and the head of the Belarusian Presidential Administration, Uladzimir Makey, in Kyiv on Wednesday.
Mr. Azarov said that the joint interstate commission should make extensive preparations for the visit, which he noted was expected to give an impetus to bilateral relations. //
