Engine rumble, track, adrenaline... (+video)

It’s noisy and cheerful in our district center today. Participants of the race “Bisons” have passed through the streets.

People who live at Gagarin Street, Lenin Street, September 17 Street, Dzerzhinsky Street are more lucky than anyone. They could see SUVs and original cars of free design right from their windows.

In our district such jeep festival was held for the first time, it brought together guests from different parts of Belarus, as well as from neighboring countries - Lithuania, Latvia, Russia.

The participants of the event laid flowers at the monument in honor of fallen soldiers and arrived on their “iron horses” at a special area located near the city Park to compete in the ring race. There were a lot of spectators.

Professional race leader Svyatoslav Pozharitskii awarded the fan Liza with the first prize, which has the logo of the event.

The first participants started the race in the category "tourism".

As a warm-up the organizers of the event arranged the tires throwing competition.

By the way, in case someone became sad at the races the organizers of the jeep festival took care of other entertainment events.

In particular, there were children's attractions and shopping tents in the City Park.

Some participants of the race went down, the most staunch remained. Spectators and fans had no time to get bored, they watched with interest what was happening around. It was very interesting in the City Park too. There one can find entertainment for children: different games, ride on cars, exhibitions, cotton candy and popcorn.

The last category of SUVs completed the race. Participants were waist-deep in mud, but they didn’t give up. The audience was delighted with the spectacle taking place on the track.

Honouring of the best people launched Youth Week.

The ceremony, where the most active and initiative young people and families were awarded, took place at the main area.

The youth cover band "Radiance" continued the festival. The audience sang familiar hits along with the group - and the artists, touched by а hearty welcome, promised to go back. They've never been here before.

While the music group was collecting equipment, the local kids were looking forward to the beginning of the colour festival "Bel Holi". Finally all the emotions broke out together with cheerful music, bright colors and energetic dances.
