The main idea of the festival is a revival of national traditions and presentation of Smorgon as a modern town which is fast developing but at the same time it honours and preserves its national history.  

This year the Round cracknels town with streets full of entertainments to everybody’s taste will be situated on the territory of the central park.

Smorgon is certainly the homeland of round cracknels. But today they are also produced by other food industries. Many of them, both Belarusian and foreign enterprises, will present their round cracknels at the fair. Everyone interested will be able to taste them and choose the best.

Uchenaya street of Round cracknels town will meet children. There will be different attractions, entertaining programs, concerts, presentations of start-up projects and school business campaigns.  

The opening of the festival will take place in Singing square at 11 o’clock. The Belarusian state honoured dance company “Khoroshki” will open the fair. Later you’ll see the perfomances of amateur groups from Smorgon, Oshmyany, and Ostrovets regions, the concert of the folk-group “Lyalki-corporation”.

The program in Medvezhya street will be interesting too. Folk art craftsmen will gather there. You’ll be able not only buy their products but also experience straw platting, embroidery, pottery and other kinds of craft.  

It’s impossible to imagine the festival without treating! Numerous selling spots will be working in Vkusnaya street. They will offer dishes of the Belarusian cuisine.

11.00 - 12.20 – formal opening of the festival fair “Smorgon round cracknels”. The concert of the Belarusian state honoured dance company “Khoroshki”

10.00 - 20.00 – the selling exhibition of bakery manufacturing plants, work of “Barankovaya” street.

12.00 - 14.00 – the contest and round cracknels tasting.

10.00 - 17.30 – the concert venue “The wreath of friends”.

10.00 - 20.00 - the selling exhibition of amateur and folk arts, the traditional folk art workshop.

10.00 - 17.30 – work of “Uchenaya” street. Games, entertainments, the concert venue, performances of children’s groups from Smorgon region, the fairground attraction for children, face painting, presentations of school business campaigns and start-up projects.
